This is a starter post, written by the Floors & Frames team so you can find answers from day one. Replies from members are welcome.

You don't need to be an architect to use Floors & Frames.

  1. Start with Quick start for your plot size and pick the bedrooms you need.
  2. Walk round it in 3D with the family. Move rooms and furniture until it feels right.
  3. Use Estimate for a rough idea of cost.
  4. Export the PDF plans to take to your architect or builder.
A plan from Floors & Frames is a design, not an approved drawing. Have a licensed professional check structure and bylaws before you build.
