This is a starter post, written by the Floors & Frames team so you can find answers from day one. Replies from members are welcome.

Floors & Frames works just as well for one person as for a studio. This shelf of guides is for you if you're:

  • an architect, civil engineer or interior designer working alone,
  • a builder or contractor who draws plans for buyers, or
  • a home owner planning your own house.

The path we suggest

  1. Try it without signing up to get a feel for the editor. Guests get 1 project and 1 client, saved in that browser.
  2. Make a free account when you want to keep your work in the cloud, export PDFs and share with someone.
  3. Follow the guides below in order: your first plan, sizes, floors, stairs, 3D, then exports.

When you start taking on clients, the For studios guides cover quotations, payments and the client link.
