SOLUTION
On the ground floor, use the button that adds a column at each corner of the floor above's outer walls. It's in the properties panel when nothing is selected. Then delete or don't draw the ground-floor walls where cars go. You can also place single columns with the Column tool.
The 3D view shows the floor above standing on the columns.
