Most of my clients want the usual dog-legged stair. Which tool is it?

SOLUTION

Use the Stairs tool and pick the type in the properties panel. The types are:

  • Dog-legged: two flights side by side with a half landing. The usual stair in Indian homes.
  • Straight, Straight + landing, L-shaped, L with winders, Double winder and Open well.

The number of risers comes from the floor-to-floor height, and you'll see the riser and tread sizes live, with a warning if the flight gets too steep. The floor above gets an opening cut where the stair arrives.
